FAQ · Experience & Culture
What traditional food can I eat in Merzouga?
Slow-cooked tajines, Friday couscous, harira soup, fresh khobz bread, Tafilalet dates and the region’s own madfouna — “Berber pizza”.
The Tafilalet is Morocco’s date basket, and the local varieties end most meals. At the camp, dinner is the slow kind: tajines that spent the afternoon over coals, eaten by candlelight.
