where the Sahara begins
King-sized beds and hot showers in the heart of the dunes. Camel rides at sunset, dinner by firelight, and the clearest night sky you will ever sleep under.
About the camp
Erg Chebbi outside.
Comfort inside.
Sundrift Luxury Camp sits at the foot of the great Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga — a luxury desert camp in Morocco where Berber hospitality meets boutique-hotel comfort.
Each of our tents is a private suite under canvas: a king-sized bed dressed in crisp linen, a private bathroom with hot water, and air conditioning for warm afternoons and cold desert nights. Between the dunes and the stars you'll find swimming pool access for our guests*, candle-lit Moroccan dining, and free private parking at the edge of the sand.

Guest stories
Nights our guests still talk about
★★★★★
“The Double Tent was nicer than most hotel rooms — a real king-sized bed and a hot shower in the middle of the Sahara. The camel ride at sunset felt like a dream we had planned our whole trip around, and it still exceeded everything.”
★★★★★
“Dinner was the surprise of the trip — the best Tajine we ate in Morocco, served by candlelight in the dunes. Afterwards the staff lit the bonfire and played Berber drums while we counted shooting stars. Perfection.”
★★★★★
“We came with our two kids and the Quadruple Tent fit us perfectly. The staff treated the children like family, the shaded terrace was heaven after sandboarding, and mint tea appeared every time we sat down. We didn’t want to leave.”
